ROTC talks wins, losses, prepares for competitions

Combining values of the Capstone Creed and the U.S. Army, members of the University of Alabama Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) are consistently striving for excellence. They have achieved high scores in the classroom, and now they look to do the same at their competitions.

Rocks and Recreation

As the fall semester begins, students find a variety of ways to relieve stress, take a break, and stay in shape throughout the University Recreation Center. Hoping to serve even more students than before, the Student Activities Center, near Presidential Village, is now open for use.

Hot Hundred will return to campus

The Hot Hundred bike ride, with its Tuscaloosa roots and university connections, will return to campus Saturday with discounted tickets available to students. "Really anyone can come out to experience the excitement and fun of a large group ride like the Hot Hundred," Ride Director Pixie Hicks said. "We have outstanding escort through campus and downtown Tuscaloosa by the TPD and also a local motorcycle club, the Dirty South Cruisers."
