Arkansas hands Alabama women's basketball its third-straight loss

The Arkansas Razorbacks had lost seven of their last eight games, including their last four, and were 2-7 in the SEC. They also lost to Alabama by seven points at home on Jan. 7. The outcome of Sunday’s rematch in Coleman Coliseum seemed in little doubt at tipoff. Sunday’s result, then, must have come as a slap in the face to head coach Kristy Curry and the rest of Alabama’s women’s basketball team. The Crimson Tide led for only 23 seconds of game time en route to a 74-66 loss.

Alabama hosts annual Power of Pink Meet against Arkansas

This will be Alabama’s 14th annual Power of Pink meet, but it may be the first time that pink will be joined by another emblematic color. As they have all season long, the Crimson Tide gymnasts will continue to honor Brannan’s brother - who is currently fighting stage four Hepatosplenic T-cell Lymphoma - by sporting green ribbons in their hair.

Alabama fails to find any spark in loss to Missouri

Alabama gave the fans little to cheer about after blowing the roof off of Coleman Coliseum against Oklahoma. Inconsistency has defined Alabama’s season thus far. Now, it finds itself at 14-8 overall and 5-4 in SEC play. It was only the second home loss of the season thus far. In those two losses, Alabama scored less than 65 points. The team averages 74 points per game.

Baseball starts preparation for 2018 season

A lot has happened since Alabama played its last game May 20 last year, when it tied Vanderbilt 3-3. It fired its coaching staff, and brought in an Auburn assistant coach to be the 32nd head coach at Alabama.  Most eyes are focused on Alabama's opener 19 days away when it takes on Valparaiso, but first-year head coach Brad Bohannon was more focused on its first day of spring practice.
