Alexis Osorio cleared to return

Ahead of it’s second SEC road series, Alabama got some good news. Star pitcher Alexis Osorio has been cleared to pitch this weekend against No. 19 Kentucky. Osorio, who did not pitch at all last week for No. 16 Alabama against UAB and Ole Miss, passed all her concussion tests on Tuesday and is ready to go.

Softball's bats heat up against UAB

Alabama needed to get its offense going. On a cold Tuesday night at Rhoades Stadium, the lineup finally started to heat up.  The Crimson Tide (20-7) faced two early deficits, falling behind 1-0 and 3-2 in each of the first two innings, but fought back to win the game 10-5 to end a two-game losing streak.

Kaylee Tow continues to make strides in freshman season

Kaylee Tow introduced herself as “fearless” at a team meeting last August when she arrived at Alabama’s campus. The freshman outfielder has backed up her words and won the trust of her coach and teammates right away. “She’s very competitive, I know that,” said coach Patrick Murphy. “The first thing she said to everybody in the initial team meeting in August was that she’s fearless and it’s true. She won’t back down, which is cool.”
