Alabama soccer remains undefeated at home

The “I Believe” chants sound loud in the soccer complex.  All three of Alabama's victories have come at home. Coach Wes Hart and the Crimson Tide soccer team will finish off a long four-game home stand this weekend. “We’ve been getting some pretty big crowds at our games which has been great,” goalkeeper Emily Rusk said.


Alabama wins second straight home game

The Alabama Crimson Tide soccer team finished the first weekend of a four game home stand with a 1-0 victory over the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles. Friday night Alabama secured a 3-2 double overtime victory that handed LSU its first loss of the season.


Soccer loses third road game

On Sunday night, Coach Wes Hart and the Alabama soccer team dropped their third loss of the season on the road against the Rhode Island Rams with a final score of 1-0. In the first period, Alabama tried to find their rhythm on offense after coming out empty handed in their last game against Harvard.


Alabama soccer loses second road game

After a tough scoreless tie against Wake Forest on Friday night at the Alabama Soccer Complex, the Alabama Crimson Tide soccer team dropped a 2-1 loss on the road against the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles Sunday night. Redshirt sophomore Kat Stratton made her first start of the season at goalkeeper over Emily Rusk, who had a season high seven saves on Friday night against the Demon Deacons.


Soccer ties Wake Forest after weather delays

After a victory in their home season opener, Coach Wes Hart and the Alabama Crimson Tide soccer team returned home to the Alabama Soccer Complex on Friday night with a scoreless draw against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. “This game showed our toughness and our grit,” Coach Hart said.


Sweet Home Alabama: Soccer wins in coach Wes Hart's home debut

After a hard-fought 1-0 loss to the Memphis Tigers in their season opener, head coach Wes Hart and the Alabama soccer team answered back with 1-0 victory against the Troy Trojans in their first home game of the season with a game-winning goal by Alexis Mouton in the 76th minute Sunday night. The Crimson Tide used the momentum from the large crowd at the Alabama Soccer Stadium to help them push past the Trojans and give Hart his first win in his Alabama coaching career.


Soccer falls 1-0 in season opener in Mephis

By Marquis Munson | Staff Reporter On Friday night, first-year head coach Wes Hart and the Alabama Crimson Tide soccer team began their 2015 season with a loss to the Memphis Tigers 1-0 at Mike Rose Stadium in Memphis, Tennessee. Coming off a 4-3 victory last Thursday in an exhibition match at Vanderbilt, the Crimson Tide lose a close and competitive match to begin the Wes Hart era at Alabama. Alabama controlled possession early in the first half until the Tigers took a 1-0 lead in the 22nd minute after a goal from their freshman forward Elizabeth Woerner.
