Lill did: Lillian Roth elected SGA president for 2016-2017

Chants of “Lill Will” filled the living room of Chi Omega Tuesday night after Lillian Roth, sophomore political science and public relations major found out she won the SGA presidential election, taking in 53.87% of the 13,751 votes cast. Roth’s campaign members, sorority sisters, family, friends and supporters jumped, cheered, hugged and congratulated one another as they burst with excitement upon hearing the news. Michelle Roth, Roth’s mother said she was so proud of Roth and that she would’ve felt that way regardless of the turnout.

Roth wins SGA presidency

Lillian Roth, a rising junior political science major from Montgomery, Alabama, was elected the next University of Alabama SGA president for the 2016-2017 term, read the unofficial elections results, emailed to The Crimson White by Kelli Knox-Hall, staff member of the Elections Board. According to the email, 13,751 votes were cast in the election.
