Alabama offense makes quick work of Mercer in big win

Alabama’s offense made light work of Mercer in a 56-0 win. The Crimson Tide scored touchdowns on its first five possessions. Leading the way was quarterback Jalen Hurts and wide receiver Calvin Ridley. Hurts was a perfect seven for seven for 180 yards and three touchdowns. Ridley had his second-straight 100-yard game, finishing with three catches for 103 yards and touchdown.

Raekwon Davis has become Alabama's 'ferocious' defensive end

With the departures of Jonathan Allen and Dalvin Tomlinson to the NFL, it has been defensive lineman Raekwon Davis who has filled the role as Alabama’s dominant defensive end. This season, he has 49 tackles from that spot. That’s not even the most impressive stat. He currently leads the team with 6.5 sacks on the year. That’s more 3.5 more than Tomlinson had in an impressive season, and only four shy of Allen’s total a year ago.
