      The UA Office of Facilities has hired an outside lighting-consulting firm to conduct the re-survey of campus and find areas to install or improve lighting structures.</description>

      On July 9, the Senate Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Subcommittee approved more than $4 million in earmarked funds for the University of Alabama for transportation projects, including CrimsonRide, as well as almost $7 million for renovations in Tuscaloosa&apos;s transportation system.</description>
