When: Saturday, March 3

8 a.m. - Registration and Activities begin

9 a.m. - Walk begins

Where: The Tuscaloosa Amphitheater

Why:  The Tuscaloosa Heart Walk is honoring survivors of cardiovascular disease and stroke in the community. There will be free activities including a kids zone, a CPR demonstration, healthy snacks, a Canine Cafe for 4-legged family members and blood pressure screenings. 

“A lot of people don’t realize that heart disease is the leading cause of death in America,” said Hannah Richardson, a senior majoring in food and nutrition. “I’m walking to promote heart health awareness and hopefully make an impact on someone’s life!”
