Green Bar hosts second Interlectric Festival

Green+Bar+hosts+second+Interlectric+Festival

This past weekend, Green Bar hosted a biannual music festival known as Interlectric that featured local artists and bands around Tuscaloosa. Interlectric was held in February of this year for the first time, and the second time around did not disappoint.

The event began on Thursday with four acts featuring Groove Cartel, Drop DOC, Ourse and Vctre. Friday featured Zewmob, Siger, Cxxnzy, Loaded Gunn and J. Jixzr. The final night of the 3-day extravaganza featured Rip n Dip, Groover Braam, Moglee and Ryan Viser.

Filled with electric vibes and music lovers, Green Bar hosted a lively lineup of Tuscaloosa’s finest artists and band, accompanied by touring acts that stopped along the way.

Ryan Viser, a trumpet player as well as an electronic music producer, ended the 3-day event with an electric performance. Viser and Moglee, a 25-year-old music producer from Birmingham, performed together to end the night. Viser, the Louisiana native, dropped by Tuscaloosa as part of his tour and is making his way across the nation along with Zoogma and Cofresi.

Since 2013, Viser’s aggressive trumpet playing has prompted success for him, and he has gained many followers recently. Over the past few years, he has gained a reputation for lighting up a room with his performance. Viser is continuing to edit his sound and continues to play at different events and festivals.

The Green Bar is a great way to discover new sounds without being incredibly overwhelmed by large crowds and big music festival environments. Green Bar wants to support local artists and original musicians in the area.

The electronic music scene is becoming more and more popular as new artists and sounds are being discovered. The Interlectric Festival at Green Bar filled this past weekend with performances that made the audience come alive.
