Weekend Band Scene: Jan. 27-29

Now that students have made it through the first few weeks of classes this semester, it is time to celebrate. Here is the lineup of bands to check out this weekend.

Cosmic Shift with Roadside Glorious at Green Bar – On Friday night, Nashville based band, Cosmic Shift will perform alongside, New Orleans based blues band Roadside Glorious at Green Bar. This show is free and open to ages 19 and up. Doors open at 8 p.m., and the show begins at 10:30 p.m.

Brother Hawk with Tedo Stone at Green Bar – On Saturday night, Atlanta based band Brother Hawk will perform alongside Tedo Stone to provide a night full of blues and rock. This show is for ages 19 and up, and tickets are $5. Doors open at 8 p.m., and the show starts at 10:30 p.m.

Whyte Caps with Special Guest Mason Henderson at Rounders – On Friday night, this Gulf Shores based rock band will be bringing its sound to Rounders. This show is for ages 19 and up with a $5 cover charge. The show starts at 10:30 p.m.

U.S. at Rhythm & Brews – On Friday night, the band U.S. will be rocking out at Rhythm & Brews. The show starts at 10:30 p.m.

Mustache at Rhythm & Brews – On Saturday night Mustache the Band will bring their 90s country sound to Rhythm & Brews. The show starts at 9 p.m.
