"Carpe Diem": Words of wisdom from Dr. Witt

Chancellor Robert E. Witt announced in 2015 that he would be stepping down on August 15, 2016. Witt served as the chancellor of the UA System for 3 years, after serving as the University's president since 2003. During his term, Witt worked to promote the growth in enrollment and academic reputation of the University.

Witt will take a year's sabbatical before returning to teach in the Honors College.

As he prepared to leave his position after nearly five decades in higher education, Witt sat down for an interview with The Crimson White and offered a few words of parting advice to the students he will leave behind.
