"Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd-

"My go to is definitely "Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Most of the guys like listening to things to get them pumped up, but for me I definitely like something more calming," said Cooper Bateman, a sophomore and quarterback for the Crimson Tide football team.

"Stockholm Syndrome" by One Direction-

“I like it because it’s got an 80’s vibe to it, and it doesn't sound like anything else they have ever done. The music to it sounds similar to bands like The Police and Journey. It’s the kind of song you roll your windows down and completely jam to while your cruising in the car. I can’t wait to see what the future hold for One Direction. Their album that is dropping sometime soon is going to be epic," said Alexis Pruitt, a junior majoring in Education.

"Cop Car" by Sam Hunt-

“I’ve loved Sam Hunt since before he became the star he is now. "Cop Car" is such a sweet song, it’s about the craziness that goes along with young love! It’s such a great song to just completely gush over! I love Sam!” said Sophie Simmons, a junior majoring in Nutrition.

"Future People" by Alabama Shakes-

“I've had Alabama Shakes latest album "Sound & Color" on repeat off and on since i got my copy during the summer. They have a unique sound, and I love how successful a band from Alabama has become. This is a hard choice, but if i to choose my favorite song from the album it would be future people," said Beth Coker, a junior majoring in Communications.

"Bad Blood" by Taylor Swift-
“It’s my favorite song to workout too. It’s upbeat and powerful, it gets me in the zone when I’m in the gym. I really like Taylor Swift’s new sound, I like the majority of the songs of her 1989 album. But I definitely prefer the original over the remix though," said Ashley Scharf, a junior majoring in Child Life.

"Push" by Matchbox Twenty-

“Probably Matchbox 20 because they are one of my favorite bands. No particular reason why, I just like the song," said John Mills, a junior majoring in Engineering.
