FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla – Alabama freshmen linebackers Dillon Lee and Ryan Anderson were sent home from the BCS National Championship Game trip, a source close to the situation told The Crimson White Friday.

A UA spokesperson later confirmed the dismissal.

“We sent two players home due to a curfew violation,” head coach Nick Saban told The Crimson White in a statement.

Lee, a four-star prospect coming out of high school according to Rivals.com, appeared in eight games for the Crimson Tide this season. He recorded one tackle and an interception at the end of Alabama’s season-opener against Michigan.

Anderson, also a four-star according to Rivals, has not seen the field for Alabama.
